Meat stew in an Afghan cauldron

Hello everyone, I want to share with you a recipe for cooking meat stew in an Afghan cauldron, but this does not mean that if you do not have an Afghan cauldron, then this recipe is useless for you, this dish can also be cooked in a pressure cooker, slow cooker and even in a simple saucepan or cauldron , the difference is only in the time that will be spent on preparing this dish.

Well, enough prelude, let's get started.

So, from the ingredients we need:

Meat - turkey (meat from frogs, more juicy)

Potato

Onion

Sweet and hot peppers

Carrot

Pesto (olive oil, parsley, cilantro and garlic, some salt)

Seasonings to taste, any seasoning for

meat, chicken and vegetables will be acceptable

Vegetable oil - I took olive oil, you can use whatever you like.

Recipe:


cut the turkey meat into portions of 3-4cm pieces. marinate the meat in pesto and marinate for 10 minutes while we chop the vegetables.


50-70ml. pour vegetable oil into an Afghan cauldron


cut the onion into feathers and cover the bottom of the cauldron, forming a pillow for the meat so that the meat does not burn.


peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces of 3-4 cm


peppers cut into rings 2-3 cm wide


peel the carrots and chop them coarsely too, so that the carrots do not boil


Cauldron bookmark:

We put the meat on the onion, the potatoes are followed by the meat, followed by peppers and carrots.

We use the seasonings that you like, do not forget salt and pepper.


This dish will be cooked for 25 minutes, without water, the broth in the dish is formed from the juice of vegetables.


Decorate the finished dish with fresh herbs and serve.
